Casper Steinfath and Caroline Küntzel Sweep the Podium at the 1st Stop of the Danish SUP Tour

Competing their way to the top, 6x World Champion, Casper Steinfath and Caroline Küntzel have swept the podium in all disciplines at the first stop of the Danish SUP Tour in Hvide Sande. With a windy weekend consisting of a downwinder, a sprint and two technical races, Casper Steinfath and Caroline Küntzel couldn’t have done it without their Maliko race boards.
“We had the perfect conditions for the Maliko,” Caroline told us. The Maliko has an award-winning shape, collecting high-ranking results and continues to uphold its legacy of “being the best 14-foot open ocean and sprint board around.”
When asked what it felt like to compete again, Casper said, “this weekend I celebrated 27 laps around the sun while competing at the Danish SUP Championships together with over a hundred stoked SUP Vikings. It was awesome to be back in the ring competing after a summer with hardly any events at all. It sure felt good to be back on my Maliko chasing some gold.”
Küntzel became the Danish Champion again this year, winning all of her races in both the Junior and Women’s division.
With three more stops to go on the Danish SUP Tour, we are excited to see our team on the water and in competition. Stay tuned for more updates from our team.
