Whilst most of the United kingdom basked in glorious sunshine on one of the hottest days of the year the thousands that ventured down to the U.K’s South West coast were treated to some light wind epic racing with the Sail GP’s 50ft foiling catamarans. Although the wind was light for the weekend that didn’t stop the teams putting on a show in some close racing around the Plymouth Sound. With averaging wind speed of between 8-12 knots it really is impressive that these foiling machines are getting close to 40 knots of boat speed.

All the highlights from a thrilling weekend of racing in Britain’s Ocean City of Plymouth.
