The 2024 U.S. WingFoil Championship, held for the first time in San Francisco, showcased the rapid rise of wingfoil racing. Hosted by the St. Francis Yacht Club, the event featured 14 races over three days, with athletes competing in various formats that tested speed, manoeuvrability, and endurance. The Bay’s strong winds provided ideal conditions for the competition.

Johnny Heineken emerged as the overall champion, leading a top-five dominated by athletes using the Ozone Fusion wing. The event highlighted the versatility and performance of the Ozone Fusion, recognized for its speed and handling across diverse race conditions.

The championship drew diverse participants, including youth and grandmasters, with notable performances across various age groups and categories. The event was praised for its high level of competition, sportsmanship, and community spirit, setting a high standard for future WingFoil competitions.
