An action-packed foil surfing race starts with riders on the beach in a “Le Mans” style start. Riders paddle into waves to cross an upstream boundary, then ride multiple waves down the beach to a downstream marker. They return to the upstream area to complete one lap. The first rider to finish the designated laps and cross the start/finish line wins.
Additionally, a full day of heats allows riders to showcase their best tricks and waves in strapped and strapless divisions.
