Seventeen years ago, Foil Films watched the iconic Andy Irons Trilogy section and was blown away. The late, great AI was doing things in solid waves that, until then, felt impossible—moves usually reserved for 2ft beach breaks. Fast forward to last month, Foil Films linked up with Noah Flegel and had their mind blown all over again. The height, speed, and style of Noah’s foil air game was next level—massive hangtime, hunting air sections like a core surfer, throwing spins, backflips, and even supermans. It was clear: foiling has entered a whole new era, and the limits just got pushed again.
